Webcasting Services

Our webcasting service is courteous, personalized, and in compliance with the legal standards as set forth by Spitzer’s Executive Order #3 (EO3). According to the minimum standard requirements of EO3, all government meetings must be available via webcast within 48 hours of the conclusion of the meeting, and all closed captioning must be available within seven days. In most cases, our webcasts are available much sooner and in the highest possible quality to conform with dial-up and broadband downloads, as mandated by EO3. Further, our webcasts are available via Windows Media Player and Flash formats (EO3 minimum standards require at least two formats). We are capable of conforming our webcasts to other formats as well, such as Quicktime and Real Player.

Government agency webcasts are required to remain online for a minimum of 30 days after the respective meeting and on file for up to four months. Courtside Media provides DVD copies of these meetings for archival purposes at extremely reasonable rates should your agency require such storage. We are also able to store them online beyond the 30 day minimum requirement should your agency choose to do so.

Courtside Media provides all equipment for these government recordings as well all webcasting services. This means that you do not have to train staff or be concerned with being in compliance with EO3. We take care of the video production so you can take care of doing your job for the state. Further, we provide an indexing system for each meeting should a member of the public desire to only observe a particular topic within the agenda provided by the agency.

Our rates are very competitive, our staff is professional, and our service is second to none. While other companies are offering this service for higher rates, we charge a flat fee per hour per meeting. This fee includes videography, web streaming, closed captioning services, all staffing personnel, conversion of files to various media formats, and audio capturing. Our set-up and break-down time is not included in the price – only the length of the meeting.
